Welcome to the Year 6 class page.
My name is Mr Price, and Miss Marsh and Miss Jackson are the class teaching assistants, and we are delighted to be the Year 6 teachers. In Year 6, our pupils begin the final part of their learning journey at Harris Primary School. Our Year 6 pupils are hardworking, polite and enthusiastic and they take pride in being at the top end of the school.
Our aim is to give our pupils a wonderful final year and fully prepare them for their SATs tests in May and get them ready for high school.
When in Year 6, our pupils undertake roles and responsibilities throughout the school as Prefects and they are expected to act as positive role models for the rest of the school, leading by example in their attitude to learning and through their behaviour at playtimes.
Every October, our Year 6s go on a week's residential trip in partnership with The Outward Bound Trust in order to build our confidence and resilience through an understanding of the natural environment. It is always a superb week! Click the tab above to view some of our most recent photos.
Year 6 is a very exciting and very busy final year and we know how fortunate our pupils are to have such supportive families to help them along the way.
