Values and Ethos

In January 2022, we completed consultation with all our stakeholders to ensure that our School Vision suits the needs of all our current children. This new vision and ethos is now in the stages of being rolled out across school and informs all that takes place within Harris Primary.

This marks an exciting new chapter for us and we are excited to share our work with you so far. As work continues on this, updates will be posted until the new vision and ethos is reflected throughout everything in school.

Out Three Core Values reflect the characteristics we wish our children to gain deeply during their time at Harris Primary School. These are also our School Rules, or our '3Bs' as we like to call them 

Our Core Values are then broken down further to ensure the children benefit from a wide ranging education of our values. Each core value branches into two related values. These six values become our underpinning school values. We focus on one of these values per half term, with the British Values threaded amongst them.

Individual liberty

Mutual respect

Tolerance

Our values and ethos drives everything that we do in school.
