All the staff would like to welcome you to the Harris Pre-School class page.

and find out more about your child's learning.

Our Pre-School class takes children from the term after they turn 3 years old. We can take up to 18 children per session. We share a large indoor and outdoor EYFS Unit with the the Reception class.

We utilise the School grounds including, playing fields, wooded areas and glenn to enjoy Welly Walks, nature walks and outdoor activities. The Pre-School children are invited on educational visits to support their learning throughout the year.

We ensure all our children, regardless of their background, abilities or needs, feel included and valued. It is important to us to follow the children's interests and lines of curiosities. With that in mind, we offer a wide range of child-led, independent, adult-led and guided activities that will interest and motivate the children.

Parents are an intergral part of our Pre-School and School and work together with parents and carers to best support children and their development. 

The Pre-School children are taught by Mrs Livesey and supported by Mrs Bilsbrough and Mrs Thompson.

Sessions

We are a term-time only Pre-School, following the School's holiday pattern.

Morning session: 8:45am - 11:45am

Lunch session: 11:45am - 12:15pm

Afternoon session: 12:15pm - 3:15pm

Both funded (30 hours and 15 hours) and non-funded hours are available. Children are welcome to attend full-time, 32.5hours per week or attend on a part-time basis. 

Fees

Sessions are priced at £5 per hour.

We also accept funded hours for 30 and 15 Hours Free Childcare.
